Physical Therapist
Nick Summers, PT, DPT is a new resident of the Hampton Roads area. Nick obtained his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Following his undergraduate studies, Nick graduated from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, Florida in 2023 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Nick specializes in general orthopaedics, sport specific rehab, athletics, and geriatrics. Nick employs a biopsychosocial and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation focusing on manual therapy followed by therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, and lifestyle change to improve the overall health of each patient. Nick’s personal interests include watching/playing sports, music, fishing, hiking, exercise, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog Hank.
