Practice Administrator
Elizabeth “Liz” Lester was born in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Virginia with her parents in the early 70’s. She graduated from I.C. Norcom High School (Technology School) in 1984 with her training in Medical Terminology and Medical Office Procedures. Liz is the Practice Administrator for Wardell Orthopaedics, P.C. She has worked with Dr. Arthur Wardell since 1983. She is in charge of day to day operations for the entire office to include Corporate Accounting, Human Resources, Accounts Receivable, Patient Reception, Medical Transcription and Medical Records. She handles all practice fee schedules, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Accounts Payable, EFT transactions, Insurance Contracts, and maintains the Retirement Plan for the corporation, among many other duties. Liz was instrumental in founding Wardell Orthopaedics in 2004 and currently holds an officer position of Secretary and Treasurer of the Wardell Orthopaedics Corporation. Liz lives in Suffolk with her husband and Levi (her dog).
