Dr Wingard is a board certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He was born and raised near Buffalo, New York. He completed medical school in Syracuse New York, and was awarded a United States Naval medical school scholarship. After completing medical school, he subsequently served in the United States Navy in Iceland as the flight surgeon. He returned to the Tidewater Area to complete specialty training at Eastern Virginia Medical School and has been serving as a rehabilitation specialist in the Tidewater Area since 2001. He has performed electrodiagnostic testing (EMG’s) for the past 20 years and is proud to be part of the Wardell Orthopaedics team since 2015. He lives in Windsor, Virginia with his wife and 3 children where he enjoys rural/ farming life, family time and surfing in his time off.
